On their quest for a safe place to call home, Chise and Teto cross paths with a dying woman who ends up entrusting them with her infant daughter. The pair uncovers a plot on the child’s life, so they can’t just leave her at an orphanage! Instead, they decide to take baby Selene with them to the elusive Wasteland of Nothingness. Resolving to raise Selene as her own, it’s time for Chise to begin a brand-new journey: motherhood!
