To fulfill Scarlett’s quest of revenge, Connie gives Duke Adolphus Castiel a mean slap—a slap that awakens many memories. He remembers the day he took in the last Farisian princess, Aliénore, as his wife; the day his wife put down her obedient mask and bared her fangs to him; the day she came to truly love Adolphus; and even the day of Scarlett’s execution. Using Connie as a medium, will Adolphus and his departed daughter finally be able to face each other and speak from the heart?
