“COME JOIN INFERNO. THAT’S WHERE YOU REALLY BELONG.”

The world is awash in pain. The Great War is over, and a rumor is going around about a slum town in the Din Republic. Supposedly, there’s a monster that attacks soldiers and steals their rations. No one has ever gotten a good look at it, and the so-called Dust King has become an object of fear and adoration. Upon hearing the stories, Guido heads into the slums himself. There, he finds that the “monster” is a mere boy—barely more than a child. One day, that boy will be named Klaus.
