A letter threatening a “dismemberment” is delivered to Seiji and Shiroshi, challenging them to visit a remote island in the southern seas. The pair sets out to investigate—and what awaits them is a towering Italian baroque mansion housing a strange dollmaker and his surreally beautiful “living doll.” To Seiji’s surprise, they’re joined by Detective Odoro and a mysterious boy claiming to be Shiroshi’s younger brother!
