Yen Press, LLC announced a new addition to the Yen Audio lineup—an audiobook edition of 86—EIGHTY-SIX, the science fiction light novel series written by Asato Asato. The critically-acclaimed series won the Grand Prize at the 23rd Dengeki Novel Prize awards in 2016 and has been published by Yen On since March 2019. An anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures began airing in April 2021, which has led 86—EIGHTY-SIX to become one of today’s most popular properties in the world of both anime and light novels. The 86—EIGHTY-SIX audiobook gives fans a new and engaging way to experience this epic tale of warfare and strife.

The young men and women of this forsaken land are branded the Eighty-Six and, stripped of their humanity, pilot the “unmanned” weapons into battle…
The 86—EIGHTY-SIX audiobook is scheduled for a July 2022 debut. The narrator of the Yen Audio production will be announced at a later date.
