Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Fanart Contest

Calling all readers – Ize Press is proud to announce an Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Fanart Contest! Show off your art skills for a chance to win a prize.

Here’s the scenario!

THE PROMPT

Create original artwork of any Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint characters interacting in some way with the English editions of any Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint book.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

Dokja Kim holding a physical copy of the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint comic
Junghyeok Yu reading the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint novel eBook on a tablet
Bihyeong listening to the audiobook for Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint
Dokja, Gilyeong, and Hyeonseong all holding different Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint books

Entries will be judged on the art piece’s interpretation of the theme, originality, and composition/technique. All decisions of the judges are final.

JUDGING

Multiple winners will be selected in this contest! Which constellation will sponsor you? Categories include:

Editor’s Choice – Picked by the editor of the English print edition of the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint comic and novel
Author’s Choice – Picked by singNsong, the author of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint
Reader’s Choice* – Picked by fans
- *Semi-finalists for the Reader's Choice category will be determined by the Ize Press team. The winner for the Reader's Choice category shall then be selected by an online Voting Polling Survey.

SUBMISSION PERIOD

The contest starts May 19, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. ET.
The deadline for submission for all entries is June 9, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. ET.
Reader's Choice voting opens June 16, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. ET. All voting closes June 27, 2025 at 10:00 P.M. ET.
Winners will be announced and posted on or before June 30, 2025.

THE RULES

Please read the following rules carefully!

Contest is open to all individuals 18 years old and older. The contest is void were prohibited.
Contest is open to professional artists and non-artists.
Your submitted illustration must include at least ONE Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint character. It may not include characters that are not from the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint series.
Art must not include others’ copyrighted materials or trademarks besides the Ize Press logo.
You must submit your entry through this form. Files must be under 20 MB. Art must be in JPEG, JPG, PNG format. Art must have resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
Entries must be a minimum of 1080 x 1080 pixels.
All countries are able to participate. There is no restriction on region.
Entries with text must be in English.
All entries MUST include your signature, with no other watermarks.
Tracing, plagiarism, use of AI, or recoloring another person’s art is subject to disqualification.
- Finalists will be asked to provide proof of progress, such as sketches or timelapse videos, before being announced as a winner.
All submissions must be suitable for all ages. Nothing NSFW.
All entries must have been made originally for this contest.
Any photographic or screenshot-based submissions will be disqualified, including cosplay photos, photos of sculptures, etc.
Only completed works are eligible for prizing consideration. Sketches are not eligible.
Only one entry per Entrant. No group submissions.
No purchase necessary.

PRIZING

Prizes will be awarded to 3 Grand Prize Winners, 3 Runner-Ups, and 3 Honorable Mentions. One Grand Prize, Runner-Up, and Honorable Mention per Category.
